Yasmine Perni was born in Italy and has lived in Sudan, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Jordan and Jerusalem. She works as a journalist, photographer and television producer.

“Dargah” is about the ancient tradition of the pilgrimages to the tombs of the Saints Sufi in the north of India, an example of Islam different from the one described by the mainstream media. Lorenzo Ricci (1953) deals with anthropology and sociology, history of religions and travels in wild places. Researching and documenting lifestyles and endangered cultures is his main interest.
