A vibrant book, full of memories, from Istanbul to Ancona, from the individual memory to the collective one in a melting pot of ethnicities, religions and cultures. The tulip is the symbol of Istanbul, the flower of happiness. Blue is the colour of soul: blue recalls the infinity of the sky and the sea.
Cassandra Mengarelli was born in Ancona and she made her first appearance with “Albergo Ristorante Tonino”. In “Il Tulipano blu” she describes the cultural influences and the migration of her family.
