The Adriatic Mediterranean Association is one of the subjects carrying out the Adriatic Mediterranean Initiative, promoted by Region Marche and whose main aim is to point out the primary role played by the Region in establishing new and deep links of peace and cultural, touristic and economic development, between the communities of the Balkan and Mediterranean areas.
The project is subdivided into two stages strongly connected and in mutual dialogue:

AM International
It produces cultural projects and presents artistic events involving artists and workers living in different Countries of the Mediterranean Area. The objective is that of creating an International circuit able to promote a permanent cultural exchange among the different cultural areas.

Adriatic Mediterranean International Festival
Every year towards the beginning of September this Festival takes place in Ancona which becomes a real cultural capital of the Adriatic on this occasion, hosting artists who come from the Countries of the Adriatic and Mediterranean basin.
