The marine turtle is one of the symbols of the Adriatic Sea, which has become the ideal environment for its nutrition and growth, in spite of the many human impacts threatening its survival.
Every year many turtles are found dead or wounded. They are taken care of and then released in their habitat.
The turtle that will be released in Portonovo has been looked after at the hospital of the Cetacean Foundation, in Riccione: its return to the sea represents a collective commitment to the promotion of an Adriatic Sea more liveable for all.
